Golf lovers: Orlando has just been voted “North American Golf Destination” for 2010 by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators.
The award was in part for quality of Orlando’s golf and its service to players, but it might as well be for quantity, as well: the Florida resort town boasts 177 golf courses - plus, it’s host to more professional tour competitions than any other city.
Deals to Orlando? FareCompare’s Deal Finder has them: I found cheap flights in January from NY to Orlando for as little as $202 roundtrip and flights from Chicago to Orlando for the even lower price of $187 roundtrip.
