Skin Cancer Awareness Month

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month! Here are some tips from the Skin Care Foundation to protect your skin while on the golf course:

1. Do not burn.
2. Cover up with clothing. Hats, visors, UV-blocking sun glasses, UPF rated clothing, or the use of sun sleeves are recommended.
3. Use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) suncreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
4. Apply 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) of sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply every 2 hours.
5. Use chapstick with SPF.

Eclipse sun sleeves are super soft and durable. They wick moisture away from the skin to keep you cool in the hot sun and provide insulating warmth in the morning chill. The sleeves are designed to fully cover the back of the hands, which are particularly vulnerable to sun exposure. They stay up your arm by virtue of the spandex component (87% Cocona/13% spandex) so even a vigorous golf swing won't cause them to sag.
