Skin Cancer Awareness Month

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month! Here are some tips from the Skin Care Foundation to protect your skin while on the golf course:

1. Do not burn.
2. Cover up with clothing. Hats, visors, UV-blocking sun glasses, UPF rated clothing, or the use of sun sleeves are recommended.
3. Use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) suncreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
4. Apply 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) of sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply every 2 hours.
5. Use chapstick with SPF.

They stay up your arm by virtue of the spandex component (87% Cocona/13% spandex) so even a vigorous golf swing won't cause them to sag. The stretchy fabric allows a lot of latitude in sizing, so if your style is active, consider a smaller size for a more snug fit. We have these golf sun sleeves also available in White and Latte.
