What To Do With Your Old Golf Clubs?

We've all had this problem from one time or another. You buy a new set of ladies golf clubs, but what can you do with the old set of golf clubs? Sure, you can sell them on ebay or Craigslist, but it can be a hassle. I just recently stumbled across the perfect solution. The Susan G. Komen Foundation has a ladies golf club donation program. Here are the details:

Step 1. Gather as Many Clubs to Donate as You Possibly Can.
Clean out your closet, trunk, garage, etc. to find all the good quality golf clubs you might donate (ask your neighbors to do the same!). Ask your golfing partners to donate some clubs as well!Work with your local PGA Professional to add a Rally for the Cure Golf Club Club Donation component to an upcoming tournament, or in the golf shop. Work with your employer or local businesses and corporations to run a golf club donation drive to benefit Rally for the Cure. Get creative! How can you raise substantial contributions by collecting good quality golf clubs to donate?

Step 2. How to Ship Your Club Donations

You will be able to print out UPS shipping labels through this website. Safely pack and box-up your golf clubs, affix the shipping label to the box, and drop them off at your local The UPS Store® or give them to a UPS driver. The cost of shipping is as follows: $15 (1-20 clubs), $20 (21-40 clubs), $30 (40+ clubs). The cost of shipping will simply be deducted from the total donation value-there is NO out of pocket expense for shipping charges.

Need Boxes & Packing Supplies? Check with your local PGA Professional to see if they have any extra golf club boxes available. As the golf equipment experts, they may also be able to help you pack them up safely for shipping. If you collect 20 or more clubs to donate, you will receive FREE boxing & packing supplies at The UPS Store® if needed (donate less than 20 clubs and you will receive a 30% discount at The UPS Store® on any boxing required).

All donations support a good cause and are tax deductible.

Thanks for sharing the step by step guide with us. I need golf club boxes too, to move my club items.
