Environmentally Friendly Fashion Ladies Golf Apparel

We are super excited to welcome the Lela Designs line of fashion ladies golf clothing to the Pink Golf Tees store! The Cool-It Caddy Personal Cooler Bag

The cooler bags by Cool-It Caddy were one of the new and interesting products we saw at the PGA Merchandise Show last week. I love the concept behind them! No gel packs or ice packs are needed with this insulated bag. Just toss the bag into the freezer and it's ready to go when you are. It was designed to keep your cosmetics from melting while you're on the golf course, at the pool or beach, or running errands on a hot day. It is large enough to hold your lipstick and other cosmetics and your chocolaty treats or power bars (not large enough for a beverage). The idea is that most ladies golf bags these days have built in cooler pockets for the larger items. This cooler bag will fit in your golf bag or tote bag, so your heat sensitive items are always handy and organized.

The MSRP on these bags is $39.95 and they are available in Black, Zebra, and Faux Pink Crocodile.

PGA Merchandise Show - Part 5

On Friday before I left the golf show I happened to pass by the LPGA booth. While this booth had been super busy all show, it was difficult to even walk by it due to the size of the crowd standing around. I was immediately curious! Christina Kim, Angela Stanford and Anna Nordvqist were all at the booth. Many people were waiting in line for an autograph of picture with the ladies. Christina Kim did a great job of entertaining the crowd and kept us all laughing while we waited.

I always knew that Anna Nordvqist was tall, but she is really, really tall!

I followed Angela Stanford quite a bit during the 2009 LPGA season. She has a great story and it was really neat to actually get to meet her! She is super nice, too.





I'm not one to get star struck or to chase down a celebrity to get my picture taken with them, but it was a great experience to get to meet these very talented ladies! They inspire me to play more golf and to work on improving my golf game.

PGA Merchandise Show - Part 4

We're happy to announce that we'll be adding the Lela Designs line of ladies golf apparel to our site in February! We've had our eye on this fashion line of women's golf apparel for the past couple of years. One of our favorite features about this line of clothing is that it is made from 100% organic and sustainable fabrics. Not only are their fabrics "green", but the they also feel amazing! PGA Merchandise Show - Part 3

One of the most unique and creative new golf related item we saw at the show this year is from a company called MiniZoo. This husband and wife team have created stuffed animal covers to fit over golf bags. These are available in sizes junior through adult and fit stand bags only. The animal heads are partially attached and can be flipped back to access your golf clubs. There are zippers in the sides of the cover to allow you to access the pockets in your golf bag. These are currently available in multiple dog designs including a Dalmatian, Golden Retriever, Labs and Old English Sheepdog. Monkey and cat designs are also available. These golf bag covers are currently made by hand as orders come in and are not currently for sale in any retail locations. PGA Merchandise Show - Part 2

One of our favorite new bags for 2010 is the RJ Sports Boutique Women's Golf Bag. Why we like this bag so much:

- it is very light weight for a cart bag
- all the features you could want in a golf bag including cooler pocket, matching accessory bag, dual putter wells, tee holder, and multiple pockets for all your golfing accessories
- the overall value and quality for the price ($165)
- the matching ladies accessories available for separate purchase including the golf club headcovers and visors to create a complete look

RJ Sports has already released this ladies golf bag in Houndstooth, Zebra and Polka Dot. At the golf show, they also had 2 new styles (shown) that they are adding this season: Black Leopard and Chandelier. They are considering a Brown Leopard design, but do not yet have it in production. Matching ladies club covers and golf visors will be available, too! Both of these new styles will be available in April.
