Blue Diamond® Growers and the LPGA announce a partnership renewal this month in support of Blue Diamond's Oven Roasted Almonds. The enhanced partnership will highlight the introduction of the ‘Walk a Healthy 18' campaign that will encourage fans to lead a healthy lifestyle with the LPGA and Blue Diamond® Almonds, the official healthy snack of the LPGA.
The Blue Diamond® Almonds Walk a Healthy 18 program encourages golf fans to lead a healthy lifestyle through their love of the game and their dedication to eating healthy and tasty foods such as almonds. Golf, unlike most other spectator sports, provides fans the unique opportunity to be outdoors and physically active while watching their favorite professional athletes compete. Walking 18 holes of a golf course is equivalent to walking 5 miles, creating a call to action to make exercise a part of a healthy lifestyle. This new campaign will be communicated to LPGA fans through multiple touchpoints including an onsite presence at tournaments and a viral campaign on Facebook, Twitter and LPGA.com.
